Every parent wants to make the festive season magical for their children, so here’s a way to make your kid’s Christmas one to remember.

McDonald’s has launched an app which lets you record a video of Santa’s reindeer stopping off at the house to impress the kids on Christmas morning.

The app lets you capture footage of the reindeer enjoying carrots in your living room or wherever you left treats out for them using your phone.

All you need to do is to head to www.ReindeerReady.co.uk on your smartphone and follow the instructions to take a photo of your living room.

The fast food chain is also offering free carrot bags on Christmas Eve to leave out for Santa’s reindeer.
