A police investigation is underway after a man was allegedly kidnapped, threatened, assaulted and thrown out of a car.

A 28-year old man from Chessington was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and causing grievous bodily harm to his victim and released from custody under investigation.

Police believe three men left the Yeoman Harvester pub on Old Woking Road at around 7pm on December 2 and travelled by car to an unknown location.

Officers said one of the three men in the car was threatened, assaulted, and thrown out of the car after a fight broke out.

Police found the victim on the A3 near the Chessington slip road and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

One of the two men has been described as white, around 5 ft 8 inches tall, in his thirties, of a large build and wearing white polo top and dark jeans.

The other man was white, around 5 ft 8 inches tall, of a slimmer build, wearing a Superdry coat and with short spiky light brown/ginger hair,
