A paedophile who lived in Stoneleigh has been jailed for more than five years after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a young girl.
Nicholas Bryan Wood, 52, had denied all charges, but was eventually convicted and sentenced for the offences.
He was convicted of two charges of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 years old, as well as one charge of causing a child under 13 to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity.
He had previously lived in the Worcester Park area and ran the company Bridgewood Builders.
Wood was also issued with a restraining order against his victims and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £170.
He was placed on the Sex Offenders Register and was issued an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Wood was issued concurrent sentences for his offences, and was jailed at Guildford Crown Court for five years and six months.
