An investigation has been launched after the first floor of a Plumstead house was destroyed in a fire.
Twenty-five firefighters were called to Barth Road last night (November 28) at 7.51pm.
Half of the first floor and a small part of the roof of the mid-terraced house were damaged by the fire and one man and two women left the property before the brigade arrived.
Fire crews from Erith, East Greenwich and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
