X Factor contestant Scarlett Lee was treated to a homecoming trip back to her native Epsom this week as part of one of the show’s traditions.
The 21 year-old from West Ewell travelled to Epsom after securing the judges’ votes and earning a place on the final this weekend.
Ms Lee, who arrived to Epsom on Monday (November 26), visited her old primary school Riverview Church of England Primary School and performed a gig at Winter Wonderland.
The aspiring singer surprised her fans and family by arriving to the town accompanied by her mentor Simon Cowell.
She said: “Simon came back to my house with me. He met my family and friends. It was obviously amazing and incredible.
“I felt so privileged and lucky. It’s been my dream to be on X Factor since I was 7.”
The Aretha Franklin fan told Epsom Comet she aspired to release an album and a clothing line to “make people feel confident”.
