Icy tracks causing delays
Trains travelling through Purley may be delayed up to 45 minutes or even cancelled due to ice on the tracks.
A statement posted on Southern Rail's website this morning read: "Icy rails are preventing trains from getting electricity from the third rail between Purley and Tattenham Corner, causing disruption between these stations.
"Trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes."
The rail company says the disruption is expected to last until at least 10am.
