Some coffee breaks are more trouble than they’re worth, particularly for this man who was wanted by Surrey Police.
Officers popping into McDonald’s in Walton earlier today (November 20) ran into a wanted man merely a day after running a public appeal to find him yesterday.
Jackson Hickey, 46, who was wanted in connection with a recent breach of his licence conditions, ran into police officers at the fast food restaurant, where he was having a coffee.
A spokesman for Surrey Police said: “we let him finish his coffee, and he's now on his way back to prison.”
In their appeal, police had warmed members of the public yesterday not to approach Hickey, who has ties to Elmbridge.
