A man who was wanted by police in connection with several burglaries and had links to Sutton has been charged with 21 offences by police.
Tony Lee Grant was wanted by officers following the reported incidents in Coulsdon, Epsom, and Tadworth and was understood to have connections in Wallington.
The 29-year-old was arrested on November 7 before he was remanded to appear at Staines Magistrates’ Court the following day.
He was charged with:
- Six counts of theft of motor vehicle
- Four counts of burglary (dwelling)
- Dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking
- Two counts of attempted theft of a motor vehicle
- Two counts of making off without payment
- One count of burglary (non-dwelling)
- One count of possession of a controlled drug (class B)
- One count of failing to provide a specimen
- Driving whilst disqualified
- Driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence
- Use of a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance
Mr Grant has been remanded until December 6 for a plea hearing.
