A man threatened to self harm in a residential premise in Kingston this morning, the Met Police have said.
Officers were called at around 6am today (November 13) to a property in Galsworthy Road.
The man was described as experiencing a mental health crisis, and reportedly barricaded himself in the premises and threatened to harm himself.
A police negotiator, London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade attended the scene.
Galsworthy Road was partially blocked bothways, but the road has been cleared and traffic returned to normal.
Pictures taken on Galsworthy Road at around 11am show several ambulances and police cars on the scene.
Police said they received no reports of any injured parties.
