Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery at a tearoom in Headley last week.
Officers were called at around 5.10pm on November 8 to reports of two people wearing “Halloween” masks carrying a firearm and threatening staff at Headley Village Stores.
Inspector Andy Adams said: “We are aware that there was another robbery earlier the same day, and officers are currently investigating the circumstances of both incidents and at the moment are not ruling out whether they are linked. No arrests have been made at this stage.
“I would like to reassure the local community that we are doing all we can to trace the persons involved in this incident.
“We understand that residents will be concerned by what has happened, and would like to encourage shop owners to take all the necessary steps they can to ensure their premises are secure, and ensure CCTV is fully effective.”
Police said no one suffered any injuries.
