A man has been reported for possession of an offensive weapon at Chessington North station last night (October 31).
Police were called to the railway station after reports of a group of teenagers setting off a firework on the train tracks.
However officers attending Chessington North Station did not find any fireworks after searching three teenage boys.
A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: “Officers attended the location and three teenage boys were searched, no fireworks were traced and they were allowed to go on their way.
“A fourth man, aged 37 and from Chessington, and who is not related to the three that were searched, was reported for possession of an offensive weapon.”
