Police are investigating, after a burnt out car was abandoned in Tyrrells Wood near Leatherhead.
Police officers confirmed they visited the car which was left on bridleway way in Tyrrells Wood and have informed Mole Valley District council to arrange for its recovery.
An image of the car tweeted out by Mole Valley Police this morning (October 8) at 8.26am shows a white car, which appears to have crashed into a tree and caught fire, with blue police tape around it.
The tweet reads: “Local officers aware and visited burnt out car on bridleway way Tyrrells Wood “@MoleValleyDC given details of location for recovery”.
