Residents of Epsom and Ewell have been given a platform to air their opinions in a survey on what the future of the borough should look like.

The council is holding a consultation until the summer of 2019 to agree on a roadmap for the borough over the next forty years.

The survey can be completed online on www.future40.org until December, 20 2018.

Paper copies of the survey are also available for residents to pick up at the Town Hall, Epsom Library, Community and Wellbeing Centre, Epsom Playhouse, Bourne Hall and Stoneleigh Community Library.

The council will be the Epsom Farmer’s Market on Sunday, October 7 from 9.30am until 1.30pm to promote the consultation.

Cllr Eber Kington, chairman of the strategy and resources committee, said the consultation period would carry on until the summer of 2019.

He added: “we want to get as many residents, business members students, key organisations as possible to tell us what they think the borough should be looking like in say 20,30, 40 years’ time, and out of that we will be creating a vision.”
