Surrey Police issued an appeal for help from the public to find a vulnerable 89-year old man who was last seen in Walton.

Officers are growing increasingly worried for Robert Terry, who was last seen when he picked up his car up from a garage on Hersham Road at around 4.30pm on September 18.

Officers do not believe Mr Terry has his medication with him, and he may become very ill without it.

Mr Terry is described as white, approximately 5 ft 6 inches tall, slim build, with short white hair. He usually walks with a stick, speaks quietly, and is hard of hearing.

Mr Terry usually dresses smartly, and can normally be seen wearing a flat cap. He is likely to be travelling in his car described as a white Citroen C4 Picasso.

Mr Terry is not believed to go too far out of the Sunbury area.

It is assumed he drove from the garage towards Windsor as his car activated Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) at approximately 8.15pm near Windsor Way, Eaton, however he was not seen himself.

Police are particularly concerned as this behaviour is out of character for him, and it is unusual for him to not be in contact with his family and friends for this length of time.

Anyone with information should contact Surrey Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency and quote the reference number PR/45180100264.
