Police are appealing for information from the public after reports of three burglaries on Berrylands Road in the early hours of Thursday (September 13).
Berrylands Police conducted victim visits and enquiries yesterday, after reports Jean’s Cafe, Lamberts Funeral Directors and Hair Unique had been burgled overnight.
Jean’s Cafe claims that its safe has been stolen, with several days’ worth of earnings, as well as their computer, iPod and the money in their till.
According to the cafe, its safe was recovered on the towpath near Richmond.
In a post on Facebook, Jean’s Cafe wrote: “A massive thank you to Luke and Valerie who found our safe - sadly empty - on the towpath near Richmond.
“We're only just keeping our heads above water anyway and this a real blow, so if anyone saw or heard anything, we'd really appreciate it if you would let us know.”
