A Weybridge care home is marking Alzheimer’s Day to raise awareness about the condition with a talk from a dementia expert.
Sunrise of Weybridge on Ellesmere Road is hosting a dementia talk on Friday, September 21 from 2pm to 4pm by professor James Wilson, from the University of Southampton.
Mr Wilson is a specialist in understanding and managing the journey of care experience in dementia.
On Saturday, September 22, Sunrise of Weybridge is hosting a Dementia Friends information session from 3.30 on to 4.30pm about what it’s like to live with dementia.
