Kingston residents lined the streets for Kingston Carnival on Sunday, which brings a festive parade, culinary specialties from around the world and live music to the town centre every year.
The carnival hosted Notting Hill Carnival favourites, including Elimu, Paddington Arts, Phoenix Arts and Tribo.
Residents enjoyed performances and food stalls in the Market Place, Kingston High Street, All Saints Church and in the Rose Theatre throughout the day.
The carnival, which celebrated its 17th birthday this year, was organised by the Kingston Race and Equalities council to raise awareness of diverse cultures.
The event took place between noon and 7pm in Kingston town centre on Sunday, September 2.
