Walton Road is among the roads to benefit from a £20 million investment, Surrey County council announced this week.

It is one of the 14 Surrey roads selected by the county council for extensive repairs due to damage caused by heat, flooding and during the winter of 2017-2018.

Other roads on the list include Burgh Heath Road, Hook Road, Reigate Road and Tattenham Corner Road and Tilford road.

Surrey County Council announced in March it would invest an initial £5m in repairing the damage caused by this year’s extreme winter conditions.

A further £15m was announced in May, and over 100 roads were marked to benefit from this funding in June.
