A man has been banned from entering Woking town centre.
The 57-year-old Marcus Smith "blighted the lives" of the people who live and work in Woking Town and Sheerwater and was issued with a five year ban at Guildford Crown Court on June 29 as a result.
Temporary Sergeant James Wyatt, of the Woking Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "We have received numerous complaints from concerned members of the public about Mr Smith’s abusive behaviour and hope that his Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from these areas provides some reassurance.
“We will continue to work alongside the appropriate agencies in offering Mr Smith the help he needs to address his behaviour.”
The order prohibits him from the following:
Behaving in a manner either verbally or physically that would cause any other person or persons alarm, harassment or distress in the borough of Woking
Entering the area highlighted and shaded in red marked area at any time
Entering Dartmouth Avenue, Sheerwater, Woking, Surrey
If you see Smith breaking any of the conditions of his CBO please call Surrey Police on 999 in an emergency (if the breach is happening now) or 101.
