A man was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Hersham - police believe deliberately.
He was left with serious injuries after being hit in the vicinity of Longmore Road at about 7.45pm on Saturday, June 2.
Detective Constable Hannah Clarke, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim has had to undergo surgery for the injuries he suffered after he was deliberately driven at, and we are treating this as a serious assault."
Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, who might have seen something useful to their investigation.
DC Clarke said: "I believe there would have been people around at that time and they might have information which could prove extremely useful in helping us work out what happened.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference PR/45180057891.
