Police are appealing for witnesses after two men, one in his 60s and the other in his 70s, were assaulted in West Molesey.
Officers were called to reports of “ongoing anti-social behaviour” in Walton Road on Tuesday, May 1, at about 7.40pm.
The two victims had been attacked by a young man- both sustained injuries while one was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for Surrey Police said: “It is believed that a number of people may have witnessed the assault, and we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area during this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish why the altercation took place, and we ask anyone who saw any anti-social behaviour around the time the altercation took place to get in touch.
“The road where the incident took place is a busy road, therefore we would also ask anyone who was driving near there to review any dashcam footage.”
