Feast your eyes on this - chef Tony Tobin of Ready Steady Cook fame is in the Ashley Centre tomorrow (Saturday 14).

He will be cooking up a storm of local recipes, thanks to Epsom's first-ever community cookbook.

Six of the best recipes sent in by Epsom residents are to be cooked by the chef himself live.

The live demos will be at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm in the centre outside House of Fraser.

A spokeswoman for the Ashley Centre said: "We decided that a recipe book would be a very good idea because it doesn’t matter how old you are – you could be a five-year-old with a recipe for chocolate cornflake cakes or an older person with a family recipe – it’s very inclusive."

Young and old joined in with the collaboration, West Ewell Primary School even encouraged children to send in recipes as part of a class project.

The Ashley Centre thanked everyone for sending in their best recipes for the book, which is available for £10 or completely free for contributors.

Money raised is going to the Sunnybank Trust and Epsom Guide Dog Fundraising and Donations.
