A woman has suffered a broken arm after being struck by a large pellet believed to have been fired from a catapult.
Police were called at 7.37pm on Saturday, February 10, to Hook Road, Chessington, following reports of a suspected shooting and a woman injured.
A 74-year-old woman was found suffering an arm injury and was taken to a south London hospital for treatment to a broken arm.
A police investigation is underway but at this stage, officers believe the injuries were caused by a large pellet that may have been fired from a catapult or similar device.
