A suspected brothel owner has been arrested on suspicion of modern slavery offences in Epsom High Street.
Surrey Police were called to a flat in Epsom High Street yesterday afternoon (Monday, July 10) following reports of a disturbance and furniture being thrown out of the window of the third floor.
While at the scene, an allegation was made that the flat was being used as a brothel.
A 36-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody.
A woman was taken to hospital to be treated for a cut to her arm, but has since been released.
Surrey Police is investigating.
