Commuters on South West Train services were hit with rush hour delays this morning after a car crashed into a level crossing in Egham.
Network Rail workers were called at about 7am this morning to repair the barrier after the crossing was damaged.
Trains were hit with a rush hour slump, with services through to Weybridge and Virginia Water into London Waterloo delayed by around 10 minutes.
A Network Rail spokesman said they worked alongside the British Transport Police to secure the area while it was repaired.
The crossing was able to reopen at 11am.
