On Wednesday 15th February I had gone to see Lord of the Dance at the New Victoria theatre. The show had just finished when two young ladies came up to me carrying a bag with the most beautiful large bouquet of red roses, saying that they had found them on the train and were looking for someone to give them to and would I like them.
I am recovering from a near fatal bleed on the brain which resulted in a stroke and as I am still unable to walk unaided therefore I go to the theatre in a wheelchair.
I replied that I would love them particularly as it was my birthday, the young ladies were thrilled and said that I should definitely have them.
I was wondering about their circumstances. Did an admirer leave them on the train accidentally and then have to explain to his/her partner what they had done, or did someone leave them behind on the train deliberately?
