A court will decide on whether a karate instructor accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy should face a retrial.
A jury acquitted Spencer Hannan, 42, of Derek Avenue, Epsom, of sexual activity with a child in an attack yards from the boy’s house earlier this month.
But they were unable to decide on three further accounts of sexual activity with a child and were dismissed by Judge Stephen Climie on February 7.
Mr Hannan will learn whether he faces a retrial at Guildford Crown Court on Friday, February 17.
