Five burglaries close to train stations reported in a three-hour time window last week may have been linked, police believe.
Houses in Corbet Road and Mount Pleasant near Ewell West station, Gayfere Road and Park Avenue West near Stoneleigh station and The Avenue close to Worcester Park station were targeted between about 11.30am and 2.30pm on Wednesday, January 25, the force stated.
CCTV footage captured images of a man Surrey Police has now identified as a lone suspect.
The suspect is described as a white man, between five foot eight inches and five foot nine inches, and of slim build.
He was wearing a grey hoodie with black lines down the sleeves, black trousers, white trainers and black beanie hat which appears to have two bands around the bottom of the hat.
