Police have been called to train tracks between Weybridge and Woking after receiving calls for concern for a person on the line.
A British Transport Police spokesman said officers were called to the line just after 4pm, but the man could not be found on the line.

He said: "We haven't been able to track the man but we're doing a thorough area search with Surrey Police."
The line between the stations is blocked due to the incident, and is likely to cause delays until 6.30pm, according to South West Trains.
