Classic cop cars, trained horses and specialist riot gear all proved a hit as Kingston’s police force showed off its crime fighting prowess.
Kingston police hosted its annual open day yesterday, with residents from across the borough flocking to the station in the High Street for a peek at the Metropolitan Police’s methods.
Residents were able to try on riot gear, see the inside of the cells and even have their fingerprints taken.
Kingston mayor and mayoress Geoff and Sheila Austin also attended the open day.
