Some of London and north Surrey's most interesting buildings and sites are no more.
Lying empty, in ruins, or demolished or redeveloped, their past is captured in these images from our south London newspapers.
Photographer Paul Talling has also collected hundreds of images for his site www.derelictlondon.com.
They include a power station, a former asylum, an abandoned cemetery and a hospital built out of a poorhouse.
These images capture some of the history of the rundown buildings before they were changed forever.
