The 22-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and assisting an offender. He was bailed and has since been released without charge by police.
A mother-of-six, 37-year-old Carla Whitlock, was left with severe burn marks after an acid attack outside the Turtle Bay bar in Southampton's Guildhall Square on September 18.
