A popular toy shop in Epsom has won a national award for the second year running.
Toy Barnhaus, based in the Ashley Centre in Ashley Road, Epsom, scooped the prize for Best Independent Retailer at the National Toy Retailer Awards last week.
Shop owner Mark Buschhaus and members of the Toy Barnhaus team picked up the prize at a gala event at the Olympia Grand in Kensington on Tuesday, January 26.
The awards ceremony followed the opening day of the British Toy and Hobby Association’s (BTHA) annual Toy Fair, which saw more than 250 companies show off their toys.
Mark Buschhaus, owner of Toy Barnhaus, said: “It was a great honour to win it, and especially for the second year running.
“We would like to thank all our customers for their support, and to everyone in the toy trade who nominated us.”
Phil Ratcliffe, chairman of the BTHA said: “I would like to congratulate all the winners of this year’s Toy Retailer Awards.
“The judges deliberated long and hard to find this year’s winners because of the very high standard of entries received.”
