A charity for injured and disabled veterans celebrated 100 years of care.
The Royal Star and Garter, with a home in Surbiton, held a party to commemorate the centenary.
Residents and staff at the Upper Brighton Road were treated to cake and military music from RAF Halton Area Band on January 14.
Ernie Prior, a Second World War army veteran said: "I am very proud to be in the Home, one of the best in the UK.
"We have loads of entertainment and we are all very well looked after. I’m lucky to witness the 100-year celebrations."
