An eviction notice has been given to a man after police found cannabis in his Surbiton home.
Officers carried out a search of the St Andrews Square property at 7.30am today and found a "small amount of cannabis".
He was given a warning by police and asked to leave by his housing authority.
Sergeant Trudy Hutchinson said: "We take a zero tolerance approach to drug users/dealers in Surbiton.
"My team worked hard to secure the evidence required for this warrant and today it was executed by police along with our partners from the housing association.
"Although only a small amount of drugs were recovered by the police the tenant was served with an eviction notice."
