A bonfire night armed robbery saw armed police chase three people near Norbiton station.
A witness said he saw officers chasing two people in Porchester Road before a weapon was recovered in Douglas Road, where he saw them arrested last night.
Police said officers were called to the Kingston Road area after a robbery was reported at about 8pm yesterday evening.
Three people were arrested and an imitation firearm was also found, a police spokesman said.
Two 16 year olds and a 17-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Borough commander Glenn Tunstall said: “The incident is being investigated by our CID department.”
