A hooded man sexually assaulted a woman in the middle of the day near Harts Boatyard.
Police are appealing for help after she was assaulted at about 11.50am in Queens Promenade, Surbiton, on October 9.
The man approached from behind.
He is described as a black man wearing a hooded jumper, with the hood up over his head.
A Kingston police spokesman said: "The weather was warm and sunny that day, it is likely that this male would have looked out of place with his hood up.
