A three-car crash outside Princess Alice Hospice in Esher blocked Lammas Lane.
It happened just before 1pm near the West End Lane/Drake's Close junction.
Some of the three vehicles involved could not be moved until about 2pm and restrictions were set up.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said: "We checked over six people at the scene.
"No one thankfully has suffered any serious injuries. We have taken at least two people to hospital."
Queues of traffic went back towards the town centre. The road is now cleared.
