Faithful to Kingston Council's pledge to become a greener borough, the Blue Hawaii restaurant in Richmond Road, Kingston, has decked itself out in what looks like a giant punnet of cress.
Manager Greg Swift explained the makeover was a special look for summer. He said: "It's fake hedging that we cut to fit. We wanted the outside to look like a jungle. It's fresh, it's clean and it's right for summer. Plus we think the Hawaiian gods would approve."
