Members of a New Malden church raised thousands for an anti-slavery charity as they took on a military-style assault course, writes Priscila Barrera.
Vicar Stephen Kuhrt and 15 other members of Christ Church New Malden participated in the Wolf Run, in support of Hope for Justice.
The 10km challenge involved wading through fields of mud, swimming in cold lakes and clambering under and over a series of obstacles.
The Rev Kuhrt said: “I can honestly say it was one of the hardest challenges I have done but other team members helped me through.
“We did this for the Hope for Justice charity that we have been supporting for a year now.”
The team has so far raised £7,000, but is aiming for £10,000.
