An injured woman was taken to hospital after a van and car collided yesterday evening.
Firefighters, ambulance crews and police were called to the crash site in Hook Road, Epsom, at about 6pm.
A Surrey Fire and Rescue spokesman said a young woman sustained head and neck injuries.
He said: "We got her out and the ambulance crew took over. There was a collision between a car and a van."
A South East Coast Ambulance spokeswoman said: "A 19-year-old woman with back pain was taken to St George's."
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said the crash involved a silver Nissan Almera and a silver Renault van.
Police closed the road between Longmead Road and Lower Court Road between 6.15pm and 8pm.
Epsom and Ewell Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team posted on Facebook: "Ambulance crews dealt with an injured driver and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service crews made sure the vehicles were safe."
