Firefighters called to rubbish fire find car and ambulance burning
Firefighters called to Claremont Avenue, New Malden, this morning expected to find a routine bin fire.
Instead they were confronted with the blazing wreck of a car, and flames that had spread to an old ambulance parked nearby.
The crew, called out shortly after 4.15am today, kept the fire from spreading any further and said no one was injured in the blaze.
