Students from Esher joined youngsters from 13 schools across the country to sing for charity.

The Barnardo's Young Supports Concert at the Barbican in London saw about 2,000 children take part.

Pupils at Claremont Fan Court Prep School performed a range of songs including Groovy Grandma, a tribute to the Queen and Land of Hope and Glory.

The annual event could raise up to £22,000 this year for the charity.

Jen Privett, UK events manager at Barnardo's, said: "I would like to thank the staff of every school and group for taking up the gauntlet, for the hours of extra work they have put in and for their enthusiasm for the concert."

Held since 1998, this year's concert took place on February 2.
