A new campaign is focusing on making the most of life by transforming how people think about end of life care.
The Beautiful Death campaign by Princess Alice Hospice, Esher, believes everyone should be able to choose where they are cared for at the end of their life, following research showing that three out of for people would prefer to be in familiar surroundings.
Nigel Seymour, director of fundraising and communication, said: “With support from the hospice, many of our patients are now able to stay at home with their families and friends in a place where they feel safe and loved.”
