Crystal Palace has welcomed a new pub which will serve a rotating variety of beers from breweries around the capital.

Named Walker Briggs, the boozer in Westow Park is the second in Crystal Palace for pub co Antic, who also own Westow House on the same road.

It is Antic's 45th pub in the capital.

The name Walker Briggs combines the monikers of two former shops that were once on the street.

It features a bar that includes 10 keg lines, four beer pumps and a selection of rotating options from a variety of breweries in the capital.

Among the selection of beverages is Antic’s own George Arthur cider and the Croydon-brewed Volden beer.

Additionally, there are several classic cocktails and a wine list to meet visitors’ needs.

There is a drinking terrace and a large restaurant area, equipped with fold-away doors and a beer garden.

In the next few weeks, there will be a new menu that will “serve fresh, seasonal British fare” and “feature nods to the familiar dishes we all recognise from our childhoods”.

Walker Briggs is open from 4pm on weekdays and noon on weekends.

Table and birthday bookings can be made by emailing walkerbriggs@anticlondon.com or by calling 0208 670 0330.
