Is simply watching the action at Wimbledon a little too tame for you? Well the All England Club has a plan to thrust you right into the drama of the matches that made history.

The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum has just opened a new Virtual Reality Experience.

Visitors can pull on a VR headset to be immersed in the drama and magic of the Championships and become a virtual part of some of its biggest clashes – from the magic of McEnroe to the power of Pistol Pete Sampras, Martina Navratilova and Serena Wimbledon.

Focussing on the history of tennis at Wimbledon and its best shots, players and matches, the experience claims to put visitors right there in the heat of the action and is the first of its kind in England.
