Families have the chance to go behind the scenes at a wild animal hospital founded by a wildlife champion and TV presenter.
Wildlife Aid Foundation’s centre for sick, injured and orphaned animals will open its doors to the community in Leatherhead on Sunday, July 7.
WAF founder Simon Cowell, known for documentary series Wildlife SOS, will be present and it is rumoured celebrities might make an appearance.
In past years Ricky Gervais and Julie Walters have gone along to the annual open day, which raises money to run the hospital and wildlife rescue service.
There will be bric-a-brac, food and drink, and arts and crafts stalls as well as other attractions including a tombola.
The open day is being filmed for a new ‘fly-on-the-wall’ documentary show, Wildlife SOS Uncut, due to be broadcast on the charity’s online TV channel being launched this summer.
Admission is £10 per car or £3 per person; Wildlife Aid Foundation, Randalls Farmhouse, Randalls Road, Leatherhead, Sunday; July 7. 10am to 5pm; Call 01372 377332; Visit wildlifeaid.org.uk.
