Dial House lies in a very pretty countryside location about 1 mile west of the popular village of Winston on the A67 about 4 miles east of Barnard Castle. There is also excellent road access with the junctions on to the A1 at Scotch Corner and the A66, cross-Pennine route, close by. Locally, schools are excellent with Gainford C of E Primary School in the next door village of Gainford as well as Barnard Castle School which offers independent education from 5 through to 18 years old. Montalbo Nursery is also very well thought of with some good state High Schools in the area too. The Yorkshire Dales lie about 10 miles to the and the coast at Whitby is only about an hour s drive.
