CUMNOR GARDENS (D2103), STONELEIGH AND WEST GARDENS (D2436), EWELL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2019

THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL
CUMNOR GARDENS (D2103), STONELEIGH AND WEST GARDENS (D2436), EWELL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2019
SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of a) Cumnor Gardens (D2103), Stoneleigh that extends from its junction with Park Avenue East (D2328) to the north-eastern property boundary of No. 3Cumnor Gardens, vehicular traffic will be diverted via Park Avenue East, Glenwood Road, Rutherwyke Close and Cumnor
Gardens; and b) West Gardens (D2436), Ewell thatextends from the entrance to "Glyn TechnologySchool" at the southern end of the road, to the north-eastern property boundary of No. 30 West Gardens, and The Kingsway (D2242), and across its junctions with West Gardens (D2436), vehicular traffic will be diverted via The Kings Way, The Mount, West Street and West Gardens. This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out highway maintenance and/or patching/surfacing works. These works are anticipated to be carried between the hours of 7am and 7pm, within 4days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 June 2019. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for local residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the diversion routes described above. Anyvehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to asuitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle'sowner.
QUEENSMEAD AVENUE (D2213) EWELL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along that length of Queensmead Avenue, (D2213) Ewell, as extends from its junction with Cheam Road, northwards for a distance of 42m. The Order is required to facilitate gas main replacement works on behalf of Southern Gas Networks. These works are anticipated to be carried out between 11/06/19 and 07/07/19, during the 6month period of operation of this Order, which will come into operation on 11 June 2019. The closure will stay in force for 24 hours whilst the work
is in progress and will not be lifted and will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No vehicular access to anyproperty will be affected. Access for pedestrians and dismounted equestrians/cyclists will be maintained at alltimes. All other traffic will be required to use the alternative route, namely Cheam Road, Albury Avenue, Gomshall Road and Shere Avenue, or vice versa. Dated: 16 May 2019
