ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

CAREW ROAD. CROYDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main works, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Carew Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place;



(a) Carew Road will be closed from the junction of Brook Road to outside No.5 Carew Road;



(b) free parking in the closed area will be temporarily suspended to facilitate the works in progress.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Brook Road, Melfort Road and Melfort Avenue as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 03 June 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 12 months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. SECTION 14. AS AMENDED TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR OR PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential highway maintenance, improvement and alteration works, public cleansing, tree works and road lining works that may take place within the London Borough of Croydon over the next 18 months, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to allow the following measures to be introduced, providing that the relevant permissions have been granted by the Council, in any street or streets within the Borough for which Croydon Council are the highway authority (excluding roads which are Red Routes or GLA roads for which Transport for London are the highway authority):

(a) temporarily introduce one-way traffic for the duration of the works in those streets or lengths of streets;



(b) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets;



(c) temporarily close any adjoining streets to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;



(d) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required; and



(e) temporarily suspend bus lanes/stops, cycle lanes, parking bays or any other traffic restriction as required where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.



2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to:-



(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or



(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.



3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles would be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



4. All works requiring a road closure will be advertised complete with any diversion route on our website at the address below.

5. Frontages affected by the above restrictions will receive notification letters approximately two weeks before any works commence.



6. The Order will come into operation on the 17 May 2019 and will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.



(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. (Access for frontagers would be maintained whilst the work proceeds).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

HILLCREST ROAD. PURLEY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the extension of a construction site hoarding and deliveries to site, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Hillcrest Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) the south-western footway of Hillcrest Road will be closed outside No. 55;



(b) road closures will be applied outside No. 55 Hillcrest Road as and when necessary to facilitate deliveries to site.



3. The Order will come into operation on 20 May 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately 14 Months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



4. Whilst the works are taking place the diversion route for pedestrians will be via the opposite footway. The diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via local routes as appropriately signed.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:-



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 LODGE LANE. NEW ADDINGTON. KING HENRY'S DRIVE. GOLDCREST WAY. HEADLEY DRIVE. DUNLEY DRIVE AND MICKLEHAM WAY. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a vehicular route for an abnormal load, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Lodge Lane, New Addington and King Henry's Drive, Goldcrest Way, Headley Drive, Dunley Drive and Mickleham Way, Croydon.



2. Whilst the abnormal load is passing parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in the roads listed in the Schedule to this notice.



3. The Order will come into operation on 17 May 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately four days, from 6pm to 12pm the following day on each occasion. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be



reintroduced should further abnormal load routes be required. 4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WINTERBOURNE ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Virgin Media utility works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Winterbourne Road, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Winterbourne Road at its junction with London Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Heathview Road, Langdale Road, Wiltshire Road, Oaklands Avenue and Goston Gardens as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 25 May 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BEACONSFIELD ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Beaconsfield Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place Beaconsfield Road will be closed outside No. 21.



3. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Whitehorse Road, Northcote Road, Guildford Road and Beaconsfield Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 03 June 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
